Funds raised will go directly back into our community through several programs. First, is the Early Detection Mammogram fund that assists women in Eastern Idaho receive lifesaving mammograms at little to no cost. Second is the Cancer Patient Assistance Fund which helps provide cancer patients with assistance to make ends meet during cancer treatment. Last year $20,000 was donated to local cancer patients through funds raised at our 2018 Pink Ribbon Tour! Combined with monies from 2015 we are proud to have donated $70,000 to help local families.
The Pink Ribbon Tour was created after a close friend was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. A cancer diagnoses truly changes life’s perspective. Out of the helplessness that comes along with being a supporter of a cancer patient the Pink Ribbon Tour took shape to help raise awareness and support those that are on their journey with cancer.
